Thrive to spite them

I still need to get my first booster. Any time I try to make an appointment I'm told there are none available.

Congrats Jess, sorry Id didn't say that earlier.

My appointment with the eye dr was bullshit. Basically he was like "I do cataracts and glaucoma and concussions are tricky and I can't tell you anything" After I had to wait around and stuff. And said there is a neuro ophthalmologist but he only takes cash but sure he will make a referral there.

Then M and I went and had stupidly overpriced breakfast at a "diner" that is a diner in name only and fancy pants the rest of teh way. I didn't realize until I looked at the prices and wasn't going to get up and leave ( I should have) but at least the poached eggs on my Eggs benedict were in fact poached.

I'm in a mood. Oh and I had to pick up my prescription, which I didn't pay attention and the price went up by like $50. And the discount card is still only $30. So you know....the stupid company makes it seems like it's an actual discount on your prescription. But it's not. At least the patent expires next yea and I think there are generics in the works. I realize that generics aren't the same and can be different but damn it's got to be cheaper than this.

... I checked booster appointments are available but not today I've already done too much. Tomorrow I have my dentist appointment and they didn't schedule a 2nd PT appointment for me this week originally so I had to schedule one and agreed to 8 am on Saturday for some reason. Not that Saturdays mean anything but why did I agree to 8 am.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

The eye doctor you were sent to by worker's comp was of no use related to your injury and its effects? That's ridiculous.

Punishingly Intricate

Ugh, askye, that is so much bullshit. I can't believe they are making it hard to get boosters down there!!!!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Saw a cartoon the other day - a couple looking at a flowering tree - and one says, "Look, the allergies are in bloom again."

That is how I feel every Spring, Toddson.

In sometimes-my-work-is-nice news, one of the guys who has been here forever is leaving to work for Cost Plus (or I guess they are better known as World Market now? They'll always be Cost Plus to me) [that is not the nice part, he's a good guy and I will miss him but it's no doubt a good move for him] and his direct reports are throwing a little goodbye lunch for him tomorrow. It is unfortunately scheduled during my regular call with senior sales, and I mentioned that to one of the members of that team so they would know why I wasn't there and she offered to make me up a plate so I can be sure to try some of the food she's really proud of before it's all taken by the ravenous hordes. Turkey eggrolls!

I started taking my OTC allergy pills a while ago, since I'm mildly allergic to assorted environmental things (tree pollen, dust, cats). I'm lucky - I sneeze, my eyes itch and I get headaches spring and fall - but nothing too bad.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Saw a cartoon the other day - a couple looking at a flowering tree - and one says, "Look, the allergies are in bloom again."

That is how I feel every Spring, Toddson.

I am so full of allergy meds that if Dracula bit me, all the Benadryl in my bloodstream would put him right to sleep.

That's an interesting defense against vampires

Benadryl, lots of garlic, holy items ... one more defense against the dark forces.

Thrive to spite them

I did finally get an email response of -I can't get ahold of the neurologist to find out how to correct the scheduling issue/return to work date. Which is something.

I dunno at this point I'm back to I should have hired a lawyer because this is too much, maybe I should because this is too much.
