Ha, Toddson, that's fantastic!
I got my second booster yesterday, switching it up from Pfizer to Moderna, and it is KICKING MY ASS. I'm crawling through the early morning meeting but I'm pretty certain I'll be collapsing as soon as it's over and I've finished the post-meeting paperwork.
JZ, hope the misery is short-lived (unlike you). I had the first booster in December - I think I've had all Pfizer - and each time, my arm was really painful and, I think, the day after I was totally out of it.
Toddson, my first dose and first booster were totally fine; second dose and second booster... whew. It's just a booster! It's only half-caf!
That's great, Toddson! The pros and cons of vampire landlords - will not bother you during the day...
Thanks for the reminder, JZ, I think I am eligible to schedule my second booster today. I hope you recover from the side effects quickly
My first booster was Moderna after 2 initial vaccine shots being Pfizer. 3 days of fever, chills and aches.
I am putting off my 2nd booster until June before a trip back to Texas. Am hoping to get Pfizer for it.
-t - but vampire landlords WILL wake you up in the middle of the night ... sigh ....
Over the weekend Kaiser said I'd be eligible for the second booster 4/5 but today it's saying I can only get it if I'm immunocompromised. Boo. My first three shots were all Pfizer so I'm planning to mix it up with Moderna if I get the opportunity.
Can they come in without an invitation if they own the property? I would guess so, but if it's your home maybe not.
I don't know how reliable this really is, but the Red Cross is testing blood donations for covid antibodies again, and mine showed up as high! Which is nice, since I don't qualify for a 2nd booster yet, so I'm not going to worry about it.
