Heh. Poop.
I definitely think a lot of baby cuteness is photography skill…but some of it is funny looking babies too. But they change constantly so todays funny looking baby is tomorrows adorable toddler. What startles me always is being able to see a parent so clearly in a baby’s face. Like, my cousin has twins who are now a year old. One of them looks SO MUCH like my cousin (baby’s dad)! The other one not so much.
I’m still annoyed about stupid airline changes. I wanted and paid for a freaking direct flight!
I'm also having a Thursday. It took a lot of bargaining to get myself out of bed this morning.
When I was a kid my family knew an ugly baby. Her parents were good friends of my parents and I remember overhearing them feeling bad about thinking it. It made me feel better for thinking the baby was funny-looking.
They became a cute kid and a perfectly nice looking adult... its hard to explain why they looked bad, they just did.
well, it's been said that babies tend to look like Winston Churchill, so for many there's no place to go except up
We spent the afternoon at the doctor’s office because ltc is sick again. We’re home now to it’s a nebulizer, an antibiotic, and a round of steroids. ltc is absolutely furious to be missing at least two days of school.
Poor noodle (and noodle's parents!) I hope the medicine starts working quickly and has her back where she wants to be!
Aww, poor ltc and parents. Sending much ~ma.
Timelies all!

Meanwhile, Mr. S has had a bit of a stuffed-up nose lately. Gave him Benadryl last night, but we don't have much for the daytime. One of his teachers e-mailed us to say he was really stuffed-up and fatigued today.(Even fell asleep for 30 minutes) I get home and he's running around the playground like usual. sigh...(There is the possibility that he got more of one of his meds than he should, since I gave him two more pills after he said he threw the first ones across the room. If he actually took them, and the second set, that could account for the tiredness.)
I would be hopping mad at a flight change line that. Hell to the no.
Hope all the kiddos are feeling better soon.
Had the boob smash today, partially inspired by my friend Sarah who had a double mastectomy this week. On the way home I checked in with her and got the welcome news that she has been declared cancer free! No chemo or radiation required, and she and her foobs (fake boobs) just need to worry about healing up.
Aw, ltc & Mr. S. Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day for all concerned.
Yay for cancer-free Sarah and her new boobs! (And I'm selfishly glad to hear that surgery with no chemo or radiation is a more common answer than I might have realized).
