Wow, my psych's office has put in a new policy that if they prescribe you any benzos (such as klonopin, which I take maybe a few times a month), you have to submit to random mandatory drug screens twice a year.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
You *will* be tested twice a year or you might be? Because maybe being subject to screening seems pretty common but definitely getting tested seems unnecessarily draconian. I'm not sure that's the word I want, necessarily, but it'll do. Unnecessarily a few things I don't like, probably.
I seem to be ok with reading fiction during the work day while I don't actually have anything to do but watching TV seems like going too far. I wonder how I decided that.
Yeah, it's not clear. It says "random", but I think that may mean that you don't know when it's coming, but it's definitely coming. I have to clarify with them. But I'm not amused.
I had to take drug test periodically when I was taking klonopin but I was taking it every day. I can't remember the exact wording but it was the policy. But I think it was once a year or something like that. I don't remember doing the drug test thing often.
Steph I wish I could send you one of those scones. It was delicious but, alas, not gluten free. However the other bakery in Brevard offers a section of gluten free cookies and bars. Also vegan options and I think even gluten free and vegan options.
I had my first physical therapy appointment today. I'm going to be going in for 2x a week for 6 weeks or until my balance is improved. I have home work for my eyes. I felt kind of dumb because I started to get teary but it was overwhelming and I walked over (it's close enough to walk) but forgot my sunglasses so I was feeling a little brain foggy and off . My balance on my right side is terrible .I almost fell over (the therapist had a hold of me so I wouldn't which is why I didn't) but that leg is shorter so I know that plays a part of my balance problems.
Timelies all!
Woke up at 5. Mr. S started being active around 5:30, I think. Tired.
Meanwhile, I'm stressing because Gary will be away on a business trip starting Monday. Right now things are supposed to run until April 6. Yeah, more than a week of dealing with wild boy on my own. I'm not happy.
(Note for Plei: I told the Co-op hello for you! It thanked me for the courtesy by revealing a bottle of Pepper Pot's "Sudden Sequel Death Syndrome" in the personal care section, which is now on my nails. It's the only one I really like out of the "Final Girls of Horror" collection, and of course it's been impossible to find.)
SHINY!
PRUBS IS OUT OF SURGERY! They had to remove not one but two masses--the giant one on her tummy, and a smaller but faster-growing one on her shoulder--but she was a tiny trouper and is currently being warmed and awakened in the recovery room (or cage, or friendly lap, or whatever guinea pigs get). I'll go pick her up at 6:30. I am so, so, so relieved.
Yay, Prubs!
Hooray for small fuzzy creatures!
And now, to make the cage as spectacularly clean as possible so it's all cozy and safe when she comes home.
