I'm just going to say it as Giraffic Interchange Format from now on.
I'm literally going to say the whole thing every time. You watch.
Prubs has guinea pig surgery tomorrow. On the plus side, even though it's expensive, we can afford it. On the negative side, I can't quite imagine a little tiny critter getting surgery and being okay.
I mean, it's just removing (we think) a fatty tumor but it would be extremely sad if we lost her. She's a sweet little pig.
Teeny tiny surgery! I’m imagining all the teeny tiny instruments they must use!!
Is hard c like K and soft c like s? Because J seems more a “hard” sound to me than guh (akin to the bouba vs kiki experiment?)

Yep!
Prubs~ma! That is amazing that they can do surgery on guinea pigs.
I am now imagining a Giraffic Park scenario with giraffes instead of dinosaurs, I guess?
I had a feeling I was stealing that phrase from somewhere, but all I could think of was the reference to pygmy Sicilian elephants I saw the other day...
(Thank you, Steph!)
There was just a turkey in my (well, neighbor's) tree. Way up high! A turkey! Pretty sure I've never seen a turkey in person before, so that's exciting to begin wit, but... in a tree! You know the phrase tat immediately came to mind, of course.
Anyway, I saw it fly safely to the ground, so that was good.
Ooh, good luck with turkeys. They are a total menace around here now!
Holding my thumbs for a good surgery result.
I have surprise cookies! A classmate gave some to my friend Helen - unbeknownst to the classmate, Helen and wheat are generally unmixy - and after thanking her very sweetly and waving good-bye turned to me and said "Take these". Peanut butter AND chocolate chip!

From way back in my theatre training, I think the “hard” comes from your throat, where the soft comes from your tongue.
But it is clearly .gif with a hard g!!!!!
Also, good luck Prubs!
Y'all need some remedial Electric Company:
