Zoe: First rule of battle, little one. Don't ever let 'em know where you are. Mal: Whoo-hoo! I'm right here! I'm right here! You want some of me? Yeah, you do! Come on! Come on! Aaah! Whoo-hoo! Zoe: Of course, there are other schools of thought...

Our wings are not tired

ND, are you able to nap on the plane?

I’m upgraded to first so it will be a comfortable flight. My weariness is mostly just with the world at large.

ooh, they have it at my local Whole Paycheck

ION, Mediocre White Dudes With Inflated Importance Syndrome struck today. I belong to a local chapter of a national community organization. There was recently some high profile litigation related to the organization's purpose. The Law Department of my company asked the attorney who argued to case to do a presentation. The former president of the local organization chapter works at my company. He's a good dude, so I got permission for him to join the Zoom (usually limited to the Law Department).

I reached out to him to say "hey this is happening and you can join" and his response was "do they want me to speak?" I was like "no, sweetie, we'll let the nationally renowned Supreme Court litigator have this one."

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Tired for various reasons, plus the muscle in my neck that sometimes gives me trouble is giving me trouble.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

"no, sweetie, we'll let the nationally renowned Supreme Court litigator have this one."

Ha!

plus the muscle in my neck that sometimes gives me trouble is giving me trouble.

Ouch. Can you heat or stretch?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Damn, today was truly a brutal Graham/Hawley/Cotton cage match to duke out who could bottom out faster and frolic in his own filth more shamelessly. (Kennedy and Mike Lee tried it, but they haven't got the depth or sophistication of filth; they'll never make varsity).

Our wings are not tired.

I'm immensely grateful that I have been too swamped to watch the hearings. Normally I would watch it all. They are indeed frolicking in their own filth. With ND on the weariness with the entire world.

On to the important news:

Stephen Wilhite, the creator of the GIF, has died at 74, The Verge reported. The GIF, or Graphics Interchange Format, dates back to the 1980s, when Wilhite was looking for a way to send high-quality graphics in color during the early stages of the internet. If you’re wondering how to pronounce Wilhite’s magnum opus, he settled the debate in a 2013 interview with the NYT. “The Oxford English Dictionary accepts both pronunciations. They are wrong. It is a soft ‘G,’ pronounced ‘jif.’ End of story.”

Also, I left the Delray Beach house for the last time and handed over the keys. I was surprised to find myself choked up when I called my sister going out the driveway with the news. Mixed bag of emotions, but having the $ in the bank kinda swamps the other ones.

Congratulations Laura. I completely understand the emotion.

I am so full of gronk this morning. I did not get out of bed until the time I SHOULD be leaving the house for work. Managed to only be 15 minutes late.

If my co-worker was not out on vacation I would have likely called in sick either yesterday or today. Muscle pain in back is still going, moved into deep muscle almost sciatic nerve area. Is the worst in my office chair, so that sucks ass.

Then either a cold or allergies. Eyes puffy, drainage, general yuck.

Together this = zero motivation

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

How the hell did he pronounce "graphics"?
