Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It figures. We frequently have trouble getting Mr. S out of bed on school days, but today, when there's no school? Up at 6:30 when our alarm went off. Kids...

I have FINALLY gotten down my external hard drive to connect to my laptop, so now I have my iTunes library and can listen to my Holiday music, not just Pandora. While I was up looking for it, I found 2 other things I had been looking for as well as a wayward Christmas ornament, so a good trip into the rarely ventured into small bedroom/former home office.

Getting up early on snow days was part of the fun of snow days. (Not that Mr. S is having a snow day, but it's way more fun to get up when you just get up, even though you don't have to.)

I'm going through my rect PO receipts in order to track packages. I mailed something priority on 12/2 to Miami FL. NO IDEA what that is or who it is to. Hasn't gotten there, that I know. The one I mailed retail ground to TX the same day has already been delivered.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I've sent packages and cards off into the void for now. Like Voyager, they may eventually get to where they need to be.

I think Biden will need to replace a few people on the board of governors of the USPS before we can get rid of Dejoy, though. Not sure how that works.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I am also trying to track a package which should have arrived on Friday and is now disappeared into their system, and may or may not pop up with an Out For Delivery notice.

Fortunately, that's the one that I put $300 extra insurance on. Unfortunately, that's because it had the most expensive stuff in it.

Sj and ND, I hope your nerve impingements resolve themselves completely and without the need for surgery.

So far my packages are all arriving where they belong, but the one I mailed myself was UPS, so I don't know what combo of carriers the rest are using. I think I just have two more to check make their way to GA by Thursday.

Matt has one that had to make it through customs, which it did, but has since been languishing somewhere in MD. So curious what that one is.

I didn't finish my cards today. Bleh.

Argh—the shitty weather not only means trying to convince the puppy we can’t take a walk but it broke my canopy tent I just bought a couple months ago.

point of post was I picked up trash on dogwalk yesterday and there were like 10 110ml Remy Martin bottles. They are lovely green and I keep thinking there must be some use for them other than recycling.
