It was especially bad when I had my head to toe peeling skin rash because I actually never got s diagnosis. I ended up following the advice of a colleague nurse who told me to try Aquaphor, which works. In the meantime I feel like 10,000 dermatology students saw me naked.

I'm still not over the time the doctor called in a medical student (a young woman) to look at my then-problematic bum.
We gave up at 5:30 this morning and started back to work. Finishing the packing. My body is sore; DH's is worse. But the packing will finish today no matter what! Last thing to go is my computer, because of course I still have to work!
A silly part of my job, last night I set up one of my doctors to work from home, and you would think I gave him a puppy and a kitty. He was just tickled pink and graciously grateful. It is a whole lot easier when they are sweet than when they are miserable.
Emmett and his gf, Kalena, spent the night at the Garden Unit. The first of our family to sleep there!
It's not really together yet, but they brought their sleeping bags and there were some mattresses to flop on. They were pretty giddy about going out to dinner in SF and the DeYoung museum to celebrate Kalena's birthday.

I went to the gym before work again! Yay! I would like a nap now.
Why is it that neurologists - many of whose patients are likely to have more problems dealing with medical obstacles - seem to present the most difficult issues for those patients? (Remembering when I had a stroke and couldn't get an appointment or a refill for the prescription I was convinced was the only thing keeping me from having another stroke.)

Since we had already moved our king size bed when the men were here to help yesterday, we slept in the guest room queen. Slept like crap. I look forward to being out tonight and back in my bed, whatever time that may be!

With the SB I have dealt with many neurologist and neurosurgeons over the years and I can’t think of one that had much in the way of social skills.
