Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Laura, so exciting and a lot of work! Go you, and I know all the pieces will be placed just as they needed to be for your marina life to start. Love following along!
We had a nice dinner date last night. Today I'm going to excavate the other three or four boxes of clothes in the closet and try to donate as much as possible. Not just DP'S stuff; I have some that can go, too.
Want to take a walk and also go to the gym for the first time in months, but I'll set how the rest goes first. Baby steps. Really, I should reverse the order of my plans, but I don't wanna.
I had a productive day yesterday and would like to get cleaning things done today.
empty dishwasher
roomba downstairs
wash dishes
change and wash bed linens
wash dog beds- in process
move some things to basement
vacuum stairs or 2nd floor
clean bathrooms - did all but sweep the floor upstairs
non-cleaning things:
knit- in process
watch at least 1 movie
lay out clothes for the week
listen to audiobook - in process
walk dogs x2 - walk #1 done
I should be able to combine things (if I get things off the floor upstairs I can roomba up there while showering, washing linens and dog beds can be happening while I am knitting and watching a movie and/or listening to audiobook) and get most of it done if I do not waste too much time online.
added things:
go to pet store
refill dog food container
I think DP has more clothes than I do now.
This morning I put away clean clothes, gathered up dirty clothes or suspected dirty clothes. Pulled out about 6 things to get rid of. Tidied up around my computer desk. Did my yoga routine
Need to take a rest because the bending over and standing up was making me light headed/dizzy. When I'm feeling better I'm going to sit on the floor and resume the Organizing of Craft Stuff. Sitting on the floor minimizes the chances of dizzy spells and I have room to spread out stuff.
Then later I'm going to work on a collage and find some recipes/make grocery list of some healthy meals/snacks for my Reduction of Sugar and Processed Foods plan. I also need to meditate and I'm currently working on sitting with good posture as part of the neuro's instructions.
Timelies all!
Other than washing sweaters, I've done nothing today. Fell asleep a few times in front of the computer. Ah, well...
Put on outside pants.
Fed and walked dogs.
Thought about doing some errands.
Yep, that’s about it.
Did nothing besides a long walk yesterday, but today took the dog to the park next to the soccer fields friends were playing at, and said hi to them, then to the grocery store, and then used my new pots and pants (thanks -t!) to make chili and cookie dough. Am waiting for cookie dough to cool before I cook some and bring it and the chili to a friend who just had a baby
I did the clothes excavation, but I did not gym. I had a full on physical fatigue episode, which is not surprising, all conditions considered. I think I've been mistaking physical fatigue for sleepy tired for the last couple of weeks. Not the same. Bit of denial, probably.
Of course, exercise will help with that, too. I get blood work on Monday to make sure my magnesium levels are OK. That is one supplement that I can't do without and have to triple dose, because I can't absorb it well enough anymore.
I hope the show was fun, amyparker.
I did the seasonal clothes switch today. It’s a lovely spring day here, so I took my cat Leifur out for a walk. He sniffed around for mice and I looked for violets. (I was successful, Leifur less so.)
Thank you for asking, Calli - the show was fantastic. Full house, all ages, loud and stompy and clappy and whooping - also masked and fully vaccinated, cards and ID checked at the door before anyone got near the entrance. Anyone who uses Spotify might like to have a listen to Ivers' track "Wah-Wah One Violin": it's even more fun when she's building the loops in front of you.
(Note for Plei: I told the Co-op hello for you! It thanked me for the courtesy by revealing a bottle of Pepper Pot's "Sudden Sequel Death Syndrome" in the personal care section, which is now on my nails. It's the only one I really like out of the "Final Girls of Horror" collection, and of course it's been impossible to find.)
