Sorry about that Dana. That reminds me, my job is once again (or still, I should probably say, that seems more accurate) completely changing but we don't know exactly what to at this point. So that's fun. At least the organization will remain the same this time, it's just the actual duties that will change. I guess. Who knows?

On the plus side, then you're all topped up with antibodies and you should plan a trip immediately.
We have survived our trip to the Oakland White Elephant Sale, where we got busy furnishing the Lily and Vivian Charles Drinking Parlor. There was surprisingly very little mid-century stuff, so nothing for the garden unit there, but there's plenty of reproductions to work with.
The prices were insane! In a good way. Like we got a gorgeous art deco vanity with mirror and chair for $300. Also a beautiful tall cabinet with secretary also $300. Some cool Italian chairs (green) for the Carl Larsson kitchen. And a magnificently over carved something chair for the Parlor. Also a very nice drop-leaf coffee table with matching end tables for the living room or Parlor.
