Timelies all!

Weather's been nice and warm the last few days, which is good since we still don't have a working furnace. (I'll have to ask Gary tonight if the furnace people have told him when the replacement will be installed. I didn't get to ask him yesterday as he had a dinner attached to his meeting, and didn't get home until almost 10.)

BTW< I am having a Caesar salad today. I ordered from Panera and I got a bread bowl of French onion soup to go with it to maximize both croutons and starches. Sometimes my decision making is pretty questionable.

I didn't manage to get pie yesterday, but I did get a Caesar salad today!

Eye patches required?

I might have a brandy snifter filled with stylish eye patches should you want to put one on.

I got an apple pie from McDonald's yesterday which I felt barely counted, but it is still pie even if it isn't round.

Finally it is the end of my day! Changing my schedule to later seemed like a really good idea this morning (I went to the gym before work and wasn't late, it was amazing!) but has been kind of a drag for the last hour or so...

Less than inflation, boo. Still, better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

Whelp. I finally got COVID. Maybe at my cousin's funeral on Friday. My Mom, who I was with for 2 days, has some cold symptoms but has tested negative with an antigen test (she's going to get a PCR tomorrow). I woke up with cold symptoms and tested positive. One of my uncles has tested positive but nobody else in the family yet. And then 5 people at a party of about 15 I went to at my friends' bar Saturday have also tested positive. (Bar requires vaccine proof.) So, who knows.

Obviously, that's a small sample but feels like there will be another wave sooner than later

Ugh, lisah. May it pass quickly. I feel like I need to go back into lock down mode.
