The Medisafe app [link] was recommended to me a few months ago, and I find that I like it. I set up my daily medications in it, and now it reminds me when to take them, I can mark off the ones I take, when I take them, so that when I look back later I don't go through the "Wait, did I take that one already today?" confusion any more. I also set up refill reminders in it.

Check it out. You might have to do the set-up for him, but perhaps it could help keep him on track.

Myself, I'm up to eleven different kinds of pill each day, now. Sigh. I need the organizational help.

Thanks, dcp. I looked into the Medisafe app, but the issue is that it's too complex for him. He can't do any type of tech at this point. His caregiver and I stock his pill container (two-weeks with AM and PM slots) for him, and he often can't even understand the difference between the AM and the PM. I have reminders set on his phone to take his morning meds at 7:30 and his night meds at 6, and that works some of the time, but because the reminder lets him "snooze," he sometimes hits the wrong button and then thinks he has to take them again. It's really tricky to find the balance between how tech can help and how it can confuse him more.

Also, I'm sorry you have to take so many meds. I disapprove of aging and illness.

So Mr. S fell asleep after dinner on the couch yesterday. Amazingly enough, he didn't wake up early.(My brain decided to wake me up a few times this morning. Grrr.) He did claim today was pajama day at school(if it was, we never got the message) and made enough of a fuss that we let him go to school in pajamas.

I've been getting way too little sleep the past few weeks. Brain won't stop. I sleep soundly and wake wondering if it is morning; it will be 1 AM. Sleep again and wake at 3:30. Too often that is all she wrote. Had this happen a bunch of times last night and gave up at 6:30, which is normal time for me to get up. I wish I was a napper, but that has rarely been an option. Zzzzz

Another day of packing. Sorting through non-perishable food stuff, toiletries, and clothes. 4 categories: 1.Can't live without and take with wherever we stay for a week or so until we move in somewhere. 2.Will move to floating home when we buy one, most likely at the Palm Beach boat show which opens the day after we close on the house. 3.Put in storage to fetch as needed or to go north later. 4.Why do I still have this it needs to be tossed or donated.

Probably will take some pictures and put things in Marketplace today. I have never done this, or Craigslist, or eBay, or anything like that so kind of terrified. Bigger stuff like the couch and bedroom dressers.

My cousin Brian is coming to visit for a couple days. Probably today, maybe arriving tomorrow. He is driving. He lives in Ohio so I don't see him often, except sometimes in summer since he also goes to his family home in the Adirondacks for visits. He is a delight and will take my current level of disruption in stride.

I'm really not surprised about CK. I didn't know about any of this but I've been expecting it. Just .. I dunoo a vibe I guess.

What makes me the most pissed off is that no one did anything about it. It's not just CK who I have an issue with now it's the show runners as well. Dean Devlin and John Rogers had to know about this and they did nothing.
