I hit my first thrift store in Baltimore. Nothing terribly exciting, just a Goodwill. I went in hoping to find either some vintage Christmas stuff or a mid-century planter or pottery, but none found. I did, however, score 2 Eddie Bauer skirts, a Talbots blazer, and silk/cashmere sweater all for less than $25.

Batcat went straight into surgery after the checkup - it's inflammation in her stomach and she's not doing well. We hope the vet can find whatever caused the probable hole/tear the probably lead to the inflammation and I'll remain the owner of two live cats after today. I'm also hoping that if she survives this we will get her back home tonight, but she'll probably have to stay overnight for observation.
