Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

Our wings are not tired.

Ha, Bojangles works. I'm just really settling down to watch now. It has been on but I haven't been able to pay attention. Go Bojangles!

My sister is sooooo much better. Still ouchy, but no more morphine and is in actual good humor. So relieved. Thank you for all the ~ma sent.

I had two friends over but we only vaguely watched.

My dog woke me up about 130am sounding like he was puking. He did not, but now it’s 3am and I’m still awake. Do not appreciate this start to the week!

Our wings are not tired.

Ah, I'm in the not adequate sleep club. My sister's alarm went off at 3AM, apparently from a power hiccup. At least I know her pin she always uses.

Hey Monday!

I'm so sorry, sj.

Laura, I hope your sister's recovery goes well.

Ack, that's a jarring wake-up.

We have scheduled our long-delayed "road trip" (sky trip?) to Panama with a couple of friends to visit another friend and his family there. SO EXCITED! Of course, it's not until October, so who knows what the world will look like then, but here's hoping.

Sadly while I vaguely dozed and tossed and turned I didn’t really manage to fall back asleep until about 530am, and then my alarm went off an hour later. So….four hours sleep? Ugh. Way to start the week.

Though I did have a donut waiting for me that I bought yesterday. Horchata cream filled. Mm.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I woke up super cranky/moody. Dreams.

Dream me was younger and in a headspace that I have not been in in years. Super low self-confidence and self-worth. Peak anxiety and desperate to feel a part of things.

I need a sleep re-do. Instead I have stupid work and we had stupid snow last night unexpected.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Horchata cream filled.

Fancy!

I was sharing the house news with my favorite comic store clerk, Kat, yesterday.

I told her we were sending "earnest money" (yes, I used air quotes) to the "escrow" account today. She said, "Oooh, look at you with the Grown Up words! Escrow....Escrow..."

I've been avidly following her new romance with the guy who brought her tamales when she was out with Covid. The last time I saw her she lamented, "He keeps failing to disappoint me! He's ruining my perfect bachelor life!"

This time she confessed he still continues to do sweet and attentive things and she just might possibly be smitten.
