Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Mr. S continues to be a horror show in the mornings before the meds kick in. He had a good day at school, but I am sooo tired of him being horrible and bratty towards me. He won't listen, so I just get more and more frustrated.

Our wings are not tired.

Hope the vibes were felt, lisah.

I am so sorry to hear that there is still mounting family drama, askye. Enough already 2022!

Sheryl, I can only imagine how exhausted and frustrated you must be. Can you discuss the medication delay issues with his doctor? Something more time-released to keep it more of an even keel?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It's kind of bad - everything's supposed to be contactless (toilet flushing, water, soap dispenser) which is fine. When it works.

Toddson, sounds like [link]

Laura, he is taking the extended release version of his meds. The problem is before he takes them he's frequently out of control.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sheryl, I’m sorry your mornings are so difficult. That sounds very frustrating all around.

Askye, I’m sorry your mother is going through so much. Tons of ~ma for her.

Our contractor died of Covid sometime last week. I feel so bad for his family. It looks like the company will be disbanding without him. So we have to wait for our deposit back and then find someone else to replace our roof etc. Most companies we tried to contact are booked up ages and ages in advance.

Meanwhile my relative with Covid looked like he was rallying a week ago, but now he is officially on hospice care.

In not depressing news, my new to me car finally has hand controls and I spent the day getting used to driving it and setting up the Bluetooth to work with my phone (this involved a lot of swearing).

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Well, fucking shit. Tim's dad passed away tonight. It was seeming like it might be soon-ish, but no one expected it to be tonight. It sounds like he may have had another stroke within the past 3-4 days. Tim's oldest brother was there, so their dad wasn't alone.

We knew this was coming, but I don't think you can ever be ready for it.

And Tim has been at work all evening, so now he's headed over to the nursing home to meet his brothers.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We knew this was coming, but I don't think you can ever be ready for it.

Yeah. Much love to Tim, and you.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I am so sorry, Steph. Condolences and love to you and Tim.
