I am so sorry about Tim's Covid, steph. My boss has RA and is on methotrexate and has had COVID once, but she only comes in sporadically. However, her husband is a warehouse manager for Wegman's, so he has a lot of exposure. She is nervous, but was in today and brought me an N-95 mask to wear on the bus. She slipped it under my door because I was working from home today due to a weird meeting/travel schedule ( I had a meeting ending at 5, and one starting at 6, and it takes me 1.5 hours to get home if the bus schedule meshes- which it wouldn't in this case--- I would also have a wait time so if I leave at 5:00, I actually get home at 7:00)

I am skipping and skimming to share (because no one else will understand) that I just listened to a Slate podcast where Ben McKenzie (yes Ryan from the OC) is an expert and skeptic on crypto currency and he is really smart and passionate about it! I always liked him, but I didn't expect this sort of deep financial and marketing analysis. He has apparently partnered with a writer and they are doing deep dives into potential problems.

I saw that but assumed it was just someone with the same name, Ben McKenzie not being a super unusual name. How weird!

meara, I did too until I listened! And he had good things to say, especially about the danger of celebrity endorsements of crypto currency or NFTs and how they could lead fans to lose money (and how he thinks that is not right!). He seems like a smart and aware guy.

All good thoughts to covid-afflicted relatives and friends. Enormous amounts of house-ma to the Zmayhems! That's a really, really nice house and yard!

Wow! He mentioned kids, but I did not know the Morena Baccarin. It sounded a bit like he was very jaded (and smart) about celebrity culture and had been withdrawing so I hate to participate, but how does it all come back to JOss!
