Ooh, that sounds fun

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Good to know—I hadn’t used Arctic fox before so wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was just the color I was looking for so figured I’d give it a shot.
Hello everyone! My leg muscles are tired from bracing to walk on unsafe surfaces & my back is kind of ouchy.
Otherwise - doing well. Except for mostly failing at Wordle. I had things I wanted to respond to but I can’t remember it anymore.
What does it mean that there are multiple articles on Whedon now? Is this parade of horrors done sort of publicity tour for something?
I've been thinking of trying one of those silver/gray hair colors - my white hair tends to grab the color and hold it, while the dark strands would add contrast. But the one and only time I tried coloring my hair myself, I'd wanted the color (red, but not auburn red) to wash out and not fade to a pink that had to grow out, so I'm hesitant. Also lazy.
Periwinkle is, from something I read, Pantone's color of the year. It's pretty, but there seems to be some question about what it is, exactly - I've seen pictures ranging from what I consider periwinkle to blue to lavender.
As to the Whedon articles - there was one in the Washington Post this week. It seems that it was one story that started a trend and everyone's jumping on. I'm sad that he turned out to be the way that's being reported. Was he better early on and got worse as he got more power, or was he this way from the start and looked better in comparison to the other people in comparable positions?
I haven't worn red in decades, but I do remember how hard it can be to predict whether any specific shade will fade to orange or pink.
Hi, sumi! Wordle is my new favorite. Joss Whedon is NOT.
Most of the Whedon articles I've seen are actually about Shapiro's interview, seems to me. I'm not actually reading them, but that's the impression I get from the headlines and summaries.
Hi sumi!
Surely if Joss has PR people they aren't going to let him do follow-up interviews with the journalistic hornet's nest that first interview has stirred up!
In other news, the Uproot pro lint shaver I just bought is the closest thing I've ever seen to actual magic. In less than an hour I was able to clean my office rug to the point of looking almost new after removing enough cat hair to make a third cat.
In still feeling pathetic news, we have a house showing today that conflicts with DH having a game to coach so he is going to drop me across the street in a pavilion at the park and secure the dog, then 15-30 minutes later the realtor will walk over and bring my dog home since my body isn't up to being tugged by the dog yet. Can't believe Brendon asked him to do that, but he was all 'no problem' about it. I'm sure any of my neighbors would have done it too, but handled I guess.
In non-pathetic news, the 'guys' play a pool tournament that lasts a full year. Most Sundays they come here and shoot for many hours and record the sets on a spreadsheet. Toward the end of the year they missed some weeks so they extended the time to allow for 2 sessions in January 2022. See me rolling my eyes at them and mocking them. Soooo, I bought some 2022 balloons and a Big Happy New Year 2022 banner and will decorate on Sunday. I amuse myself sometimes. DH won last year in a squeaker. They play sets each week with the first guy to 10 winning the set or some such, so many thousands of games a year. The 3 of them are all insanely competitive.
