I already lost the LDB game over Thanksgiving.
I lost because of Tim's goddamn holiday cheer and accompanying Spotify holiday playlists
Same, except it was my brother-in-law who launched into the Christmas playlist bright and early Friday morning. LDB and Whamageddon, lost in an instant.
I am having such a Morning. Why can't people just Not.
According to the rules, the LDB game doesn't start until 12/1. Which is why I'm still in it, heard it in November but not since. Have heard barely any Xmas music in general - even at the sale if they were playing any I couldn't hear it. Just in grocery stores, really.

Interesting - I always thought it started on Black Friday because part of the challenge was avoiding Christmas music at the mall! If there's a post-Thanksgiving grace period I might actually be okay.
It's what I saw posted on Facebook so of course I accepted it without question
Why can't people just Not.
The eternal question! I, too, sincerely wish they Wouldn't, but instead they Just Do.
The lasts three post made me smile with the funny. I love here.
Just found out that the reason the timekeeping system at work has been down this week is that the contractor's systems were attacked using the Log4j exploit. Manual procedures are in effect. Timeline for a fix is still TBD.
Tomorrow's paycheck is safe. The next one? Only maybe.
Oh no! At least when we were attacked the payroll system was completely unaffected or I would have been much more upset
I have been on back-to-back meetings since 8 am. I made a salad while listening to admirals rave about our new financial system.
Argh.
My sore throat is gone: I think it was actually just from talking too much on Tuesday. Fingers crossed.
Still getting worried about my niece's wedding in February, though: it'll have over 100 people and be primarily indoors.
