Our wings are not tired.

Busy week here and next week will be even more hectic. A couple icky medical tests finished, which came out best-case scenario. Still have to have surgery as soon as it can be scheduled, but the least invasive option now and just a few weeks of being lazy to recover. Nothing dire or life-threatening, just old age!

Also selling my house! They put the sign up yesterday but the listing doesn't happen until Monday. Thursday they will come and do the whole 3D video walk-through part, with drone photography, and all that. So the next few days we are in full out prep mode. Purging everything from countertops and other surfaces, minimalize throughout. Roof pressure clean scheduled Wednesday. Tired thinking about it. The only sad part for me is no Christmas decorations this year. I usually go all out with the big nativity scene out front, poinsettias, and the big tree and decorations through the house. Nope, realtors recommend none of that. So I may decide to go visit family in snowy regions and just get out of the way. I really want to leave anyway because Wednesday is my grandson's first birthday then Christmas. Right now I don't anticipate them reaching out to us and I don't want to deal with the disappointment.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Just heard about the tornados and storms. Do we have people in the path?

So Laura the lookers did not come with an offer?

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

We had a warning but nothing too close. I did hear that Jonesboro had a tornado -- isn't that where Matt lives? Matt, are you and your family OK?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Western Kentucky got absolutely hammered. It's pretty awful.

Our wings are not tired.

The videos they are showing now are really horrific. So scary. I have only seen water spouts over the ocean, never land based tornadoes.

So Laura the lookers did not come with an offer?

Nah, they are looking for more of a bargain. We don't "have" to move so we can wait for the right buyer.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I mean yes preventing hospitalization but also I’d prefer not to get long covid if I can at all avoid it?
Do not recommend Long Covid. It's not the worst Covid gift with purchase, but it's a very close second.

I have an MRI scheduled next week. Yay?

Happy birthday to both Consuela and Gary.

Today was very long.
Incredibly long. Ugh.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

One the one hand, Mr. S let us sleep until almost 8. On the other hand he's been out of control a lot today..

We had multiple tornado warnings, but I don't believe anything touched down here, so we're all safe. Nursing homes in nearby Trumann and Monette were destroyed though, and there were deaths and people rescued from the rubble at the latter.

Thanks for checking in, Matt and Kate P.
