It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

In the end it's only ever been one step, and then the next.

WWDITS is broadcast on FX, runs next day on Hulu. I think it's Plei's fault that I'm watching it, and as with most things she has said "GO WATCH THIS" about, I am very grateful.

Saw a meme that suggested it was a lot more true to what you'd get if vampires existed: not a 500-year-old seducer of innocent girls, but a goober like Nandor. Laszlo's stated position of "I'm not going to be responsible because it will cut into my porn-reading time" is counterbalanced by his actions, which are not only responsible but compassionate, and by his Gomez Addams-level love for Nadja.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Gud knows what I'm talking about. Like, if someone started telling me that I should eat keto or whatever.

"BAT!" And I'm gone.

From what little I understand about keto, vampire bats probably stick pretty closely to it.

(As I watch the point go over my head like Sputnik.)

Flea, good luck on the job decision. It seems like there are pros and cons either way. But if Cape Cod will be better long term, a couple of years in a strange highschool for your son probably won't be too bad. I moved between 10th and 11th grade, and it was pretty good for me. I left a particularly bad environment, and I don't know that your son would be doing so. But making new friends and discovering a new place worked out well.

Our wings are not tired.

WWDITS is broadcast on FX, runs next day on Hulu.

Just added to my Hulu queue.

One onerous doctor visit down, another at 8 AM tomorrow. Getting all this stuff off my list then I can be rid of them for a while.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Does that mean you're in San Diego, meara? Don't ask me for cool places to go or anything, because I'm tragically unhip (like, seriously, Cass or NoiseDesign would have better recs), but if you'd like to try to catch lunch or something lmk (December being... December is tricky, but I'd be pleased to try to manage something).

I only watched What We Do In the Shadows (the movie? Is there also a series?) at Halloween but it was funny.

I actually prefer the series, awesome as the movie is.

How do I say on my year end review, as a goal, “be less intimidating because apparently some people find me intimidating”???

Ask Atropa! She re-wrote something of mine for my review last year and she's Ah-Maze-Ing!

Thank you, -t!

I made a GF banana bread that came out more like banana bread- pudding, and I'm not even mad about it!

Apparently if you're enough of a power nerd, there is nothing that cannot be flowcharted.

Gud, I am jealous of your shower of baked goods!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Now I want pie. No pie, cake, cookies or brownies to be had here.

In other news, Mr. S got his second shot yesterday.

Our wings are not tired.

Poor DH smooshed his truck. No fault on either side really. He had a green light and a car going the opposite direction pulled in front of him to get out of the way for a police car behind him at the intersection. But he says the truck is pretty messed up, but not as bad as the SUV he hit! All parties concerned were good-natured about it. He thinks he is okay. Only going 20-30 at the time. But hard to say until tomorrow. He went back to practice so I won't see him until later. He is going very slowly home with the radio off and window down in case it sounds like a front end or axel issue.

Pie would be super nice. As would be cookies. Or brownies. Oh well. I guess I'll have another cup of tea.
