I definitely need to get back on some kind of wagon with exercise and diet because between some shoulder issues (pain and frozen shoulder, which has mostly but not completely resolved), my usual migraines, and now six months of low back pain (which I think is partly due to gaining 20 pounds all around my middle) I feel like I’m falling apart!!

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I LOVE pilates—but sessions can be expensive.
I have an Ana Caban DVD that I follow along with. There's no one to correct my form, but I could afford it in my freelance days.
Laura I finally heard from workers comp. They gave me info for some walk in place to go and get an assessment done about returning to work etc but the person I talked to wasn't really helpful.
But I'm going to the walk in place as soon as I can get M up and dressed to drive me.
My dizziness is significantly reduced. But my vision is still blurry in my right eye. At least I think that is what is causing my vision to be off
Tell them any symptoms even if you don't think they are related.
Keep it simple, folks. Leave the house three times a day.
Well, you love in a highly pedestrian friendly place. I used to get an easy 10k steps when I was on business trips to SF just walking between my hotel and office.
For folks interested in starting yoga, I really like Yoga with Adrienne on YouTube. She has classes for all levels of experience and just has a nice way about her. Not much woo and a sense of humor. And her old dog often hangs out taking a nap near her mat.
I adulted this morning by calling and scheduling an appointment this week for the full body skin check. I'm old and have lived in Florida for nearly 40 years so even though I have never been the sunbathing type I sunbathe daily by existing here. Kinda icked about the process, but I don't like some of my billion moles so need to do it anyway. It's hard when you were born with bunches of them, but also makes you more prone to that kind of thing. So. Blah. Doctors.
Chitchatting with my elder son this morning. He paid tuition and enrolled in a course program at THC University. He has always been a science and math guy and in my book any education is a good thing. He said there is a lot of chemistry. (was one of his favorites in school, he even talked to DXM about it) I just like seeing him show any ambition about anything other than video games. He's working full time and paying his bills. Since he'll be 30 next month you would think that might be a given, but it looked iffy for a very long time.
Props to you, Laura. As a person with moles, I know I should start going in for skin checks. It's on my To Do list.
I find it difficult to leave my house more than once a day before dark when I have a lot of meetings, unless I'm just taking out the garbage or checking my mail. I suppose I can try to make up for it on the 3 days out of 7 where I typically don't, but right now I'm going with the theory that any amount of exercise is better than none.

Apparently I'm already subscribed to her based on recommendations from others, but have I watched her videos yet? No, and I should rectify that.
I'm leaving COVID-riddled Michigan today and escaping back to San Francisco, but the joke's on me, because I'm sure things will be even worse here when I come back in a few weeks for Christmas.
I got to thr walk in. Explained why I was here. Was told I shouldn't be here because they they do a CT scan.. but I had one that was fine.. explained I need to figure out if I need follow up care or a doctor's note for work for workers comp because I'm still having symptoms.
Finally got them to agree that workers comp sucks and I'm waiting to be seen.
I'm not feeling that positive about this urgent care place. The receptionist who looks like she is 16 is barely wearing her mask it's pretty much down around her chin.

Like shrift, apparently, I was already subscribed! I wonder if we talked about it here before or if I just found it in my yoga searches. Back in the day, I was a dedicated practitioner, but not so much in recent years. Did the whole hot yoga thing, in Florida, with the heaters running and doors open. Yikes. I am confident I would pass out now. It really is good for everything and should happen.
Ugh, askye. I'm sorry this is so much more complicated than it should be.
