Ugh, I'm sorry Jessica.

Natter 77: I miss my friends. I miss my enemies. I miss the people I talked to every day.

JFC, Jess! Not cool, universe.
But other than that, happy birthday
We are resuming shipping today, woohoo! Which is to say, I was provided an official letter to send out which says so. If that means we are shipping now or just we had better be by the end of the day or heads will roll I'm not sure. I don't have access to anything yet so I can't answer my customer's questions either. But it's progress!
Jess, (1) Happy Birthday, and (2) ack, what the hell?
I feel weirdly betrayed by Tik Tok - since I'm not actually on it I only see what people share or refer to and it has all been neutral to good but I guess there are terrible people on all platforms
So it's been a bit of a mixed birthday so far.
But not as bad as your honeymoon.
But not as bad as your honeymoon.
That's a pretty low bar!
I'm in an Open Enrollment Zoom and it is killing me. So much talking about shit that does not concern me at all. I will need to decide if I want to stay with Kaiser or switch to a new "EPO" plan - I'm leaning towards staying because all my records are there and starting fresh with a new network seems like it would be a pain. I'm still in this spot of trying really hard not to use my health benefits so the difference in costs or copays or whatever doesn't matter much to me. I am concerned about looming strikes at Kaiser but I doubt a different network would really be better about labor relations.
-t, I don't know what it's like with Kaiser, but my understanding is that with an EPO plan it is easy to get burned with unexpected out-of-network expenses like "the surgeon was in-network but the anesthesiologist was not."
