Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sorry, Sheryl.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I also discover a company that makes delicious pudding called PetitPot - organic French pudding. I had the dark chocolate & the vanilla bean: both extremely tasty.

Oh yeah, we're Petit Pot fans around here. You can always find them at Whole Foods. I keep the jars too for salad dressing to put into Matilda's lunch.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Yum, I would like fancy pudding!

It doesn't look great for Tim's dad's long-term prognosis. The MRI showed stroke damage on the right side of his brain, and the neurologist said his vessels were primed for a stroke AND that he's likely to have more in the next 3 months. In the immediate short term, though, at some point later this week he'll transfer to a rehab facility for 2-3 weeks and have 3+ hours of therapy a day, which he is going to loathe and be extremely resistant to. He wasn't willing to take a walk or do any kind of physical activity since he moved into assisted living 4 years ago. He's 83, and I know no one lives forever, but this is sad.

Oh, Tep. That is rough news. I'm so sorry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sorry to hear that, Steph.

Oh no, poor Tim's dad. Sucks a lot about the care facility too!!

A "cash flow coach" definitely sounds sus.

There is an event here called "Dance Church" but it's very queer and dance-y, and definitely not church-y, is my understanding.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

That is absolutely shitty and heartbreaking for everyone, Tep, and unforgivable of the care facility. All that time wasted on fucking *breakfast* instead of doing their actual caregiving jobs.

I have to say that at this point in my life 10:30 AM is the only 10:30 for which I'm likely to be remotely conscious and mobile enough to even consider ecstatic dancing. I mean, I still wouldn't, but there's a decent chance in the AM that I'd at least refuse on account of having something else to do instead of refuse on account of having fallen asleep an hour ago.

Our wings are not tired

I'm so sorry Steph. Strokes are just brutal.

What is even happening?

Teppy, I'm so sorry to hear about Tim's dad. You've really been through it with family during the pandemic. Please take good care of yourself.

That assisted living facility needs to be investigated. What the hell?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am so sorry Tep. And I agree the assisted living facility should be investigated. As I said before, I have to learn the signs of strike just be virtue of working in a medical center and I am not even in patient care.

Someone here (I think Jesse) recommended a visual breathing exercise for anxiety. I can find similar ones, but the guy who did that one also had a book I would like to reread. Only I can’t remember the name of the guy or the book! Does anyone else remember?
