So much going on. Hugs and support to all those who need it.
I've been crazy busy here, which is good but still exhausting. Last week I was in Puerto Rico doing some system upgrades for the Bacardi Visitor Center. Now we are in the thick of a big project that is tied to the new Netflix series Arcane, which is part of Riot Games League of Legends game universe.
It's announced and tickets are on sale so now I can at least talk about it as a thing that exists. So much of my work is under NDA that I tend to skirt around it. Here is an article about it.

There is also a big premiere for the episodes launching this weekend at the Riot Games headquarters and we are involved in that, as well as an opening weekend huge eGaming influencer thing that ties into the opening of the Secret Cinema experience that we are working on. So a lot going on. All good, but I am beyond exhausted.
I did, and I called the infusion center with the info.
Well done! You adulted and then some!
Well done, Dana!
Cool beans, Drew! My son is a League of Legends addict, which is the extent of my knowledge of that world.
Nice to hear what you are doing, ND! That sounds interesting. Sort of interactive theater + gaming?
Work was fairly quiet today for which I was very relieved. We still do not have a clean list of unregistered employees, but from what I can see I think about 1/3 of the employees are not registered and will need to get weekly testing starting end of the month.
Today was the last day for one of our division chiefs, so we are now down two chiefs across 5 division. Well actually 3, but in the third division, they have hired 2 new employees to cover the role of the chief, but without chief title, and those people are new to the County, so need time to get to know things.
Are you less itchy, msbelle? I hope so
I hope you’re feeling better, Matt.
I’m also looking forward to an extra hour of sleep Sunday.
Timelies all!
No special plans for the weekend. The usual grocery run tomorrow and I agreed to go into work on Sunday to process a sample.
I have been working on accepting that the fuzzy definition of “decimated” is an organic evolution of living language and therefore ok, but I just saw it used in a historical fiction summary and I still want to call that wrong.
After the time switch, it's going to be very dark still in the morning for Matilda to take the bus to school, and the stop is several blocks away. Not loving sending her out into city streets in the dark.
I know there are way more important things going on, but it's opposite, right? It will now be light in the morning and dark in the afternoon??
Tom, I just want to re-emphasize that it doesn't have to be abusive to end a relationship with someone you're paying for a service, no matter how long you've been working with them. You just have to not want to do it anymore. That's enough of a reason.
