Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday, Fiona!

I'm so grateful Matilda is back in school. She's whipped together an entirely new cohort in a couple of months. Tomorrow I have to take her into school early so she and her friend, Carlin, can do the makeup on Zane for Upset Gender Norms Day (it's Spirit Week).

I should probably pick her up a moustache while I'm out.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Fiona!

Mr. S’s COVID test was negative, so he goes back to school tomorrow. I survived today.

Thrive to spite them

Apparently I wasn't taken off the schedule for Sunday and my manager accommodated my request to start later since I was driving back. But she did it on Sunday. Our schedule was down in the system so I couldn't see it and I just checked and I'm scheduled for Sunday but off Mon and Tues. Which may have been the original schedule.

Fingers crossed they just offer to give me Sunday off and leave rest of the schedule alone. Then I could drive back Monday. My brother is flying back on Monday so that would give us family time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Y'all. My coworker is watching Buffy for the first time. I can't bring myself to say anything.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, wow. I would not know how to handle that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had no comment! It is better that way.

Yes, that’s certainly the wise course

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Happy Birthday, Fiona! Welcome home, Laura! Yay Matilda, making new cohorts from unfamiliar humans!

Here for advice. Friends and people with more experience (none) than I, pros and cons of Lexapro?

The anti-anxiety meds are like, a windex spray bottle of water on a bonfire so the doc wants to try ADs. Low dose. But how do I know which one (so many, so very many)? I am both cheered and relieved that she did actually review the plethora of meds I'm taking for one malady or the other before prescribing.

This is a doc of less than a year's acquaintance, not the familiar rapport-built-over-a-decade person I was seeing before. I have trust issues. So, anybody? Lexapro, con and pro?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Lexapro, con and pro?

It's pretty effective for anxiety. Definitely a good choice.
