He took them under his paw and taught them how to be cats. Including his little idiosyncrasies, like waving his paw over his food to "bury" it after he had finished eating.

Stubborn old coot step-dad drove himself 13 winding mountain miles to the health center because he was feeling poorly and they put his ass in an ambulance and are sending him 60 miles in the other direction. I mentioned that I live right next door and would take him to the doctor if he was feeling off. Anyway, some heart~ma his way would be good, along with some communication~ma.
