That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

Our wings are not tired.

Since DH and I are both computer tech types we have this deal where I can fix it my way, or he can fix it his way, but no I am not fixing things his way and he isn't doing it my way.

I fixed one printer by turning it on. The power strip it was plugged into was turned off. The other printer seemed just fine so I don't know why it wouldn't work without looking at the computer which I couldn't so I didn't. I also fixed an e-mail problem for the in-laws and also fixed a printer problem at my wife's office by turning the printer off and on again.

I have a headache from I think from dehydration, my back still hurts after volunteer work Friday and I think I broke a toe so I think I'm just going to relax with some more Civ. I think my lack of strategic resources is going to force me to attack America. That and I need to finish my material sheet for the cabinet I'm making. I laid out all the cuts I need to make, but I forgot to add dimension labels. Hard to click on the pieces and read the dimensions on paper.

I'm also wondering how England can keep sending these damn Buddhist missionaries to my cities. I might have to attack them too just to stop all the missionaries.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Catching up after being away from the computer all day yesterday. Super exciting times at my house - broken water main under my lawn. Thank G-d I have insurance, but it still made for a crap day. Spent at home, when I had a lot at work that needed to be dealt with. But my house is more important, especially considering I'm frustrated enough at work that I'd almost welcome being fired. Thankfully, plans today (that I was only lukewarm about) fell through so I could spend a not stressed out day at home chilling out.

Cindy, I'm so sorry, I can only imagine how hard that must be. So much -ma for your son and you.

Shir, AFAIK I'm the only buffista in San Diego (though NoiseDesign spent many of his formative years here as well). I'd be happy to offer whatever info I can.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Loads of ~ma for your peace of mind and for your son's health, Cindy.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'm sorry for all of the house trouble and work frustration, Epic.

And thank you for offering to help my friend. Can I connect you via your profile addy?

Cindy, I'm sorry. Here's hoping things go as smoothly as possible for your son.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Usual Sunday activities here. Still hot.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm sorry, Cindy. That's so much to cope with at once.
