So I Primed already. I've always wanted a robotic vacuum because floors are my least favorite chore ever. So I ordered it! Otter Lake will be a challenge since we drag pine needles inside multiple times a day. Downside is taking delivery in NY because the sales tax is more than FL. So $185 poorer, but looking forward to seeing how this thing works.
Natter 76: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Foaminess
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Are you vying with Jon B. for nerdiest summer activity? Trying to dethrone his Theremin camp?
Not at all, but that's only because I come in peace and have no need to compete.
Really, whenever any of us does a nerdy thing, isn't it -- at best -- an homage to Theremin camp?

Fair point!
Actually Jesse's trombone retreat looked rather idyllic.
I'll certainly bow before Theremin Camp, and I've been mocked for getting into an overly nerdy discussion about Whedonverse shows and the Joseph Campbell myth cycle AT a Bronze Posting Board Party!

Wait until you see the pictures of us playing on the beach and in the water! It was all my favorite things in one place.

Pre or post-Penlind?

Jesse, are you an only child? I just ask, because I am, and I have a theory that this is a thing about only children: we're not that competitive, because we didn't have to be.

I assume post, I think this would have been the 2002 PBP (or rather, the after-party up in the hospitality suite).

I am! And I think that's right. I have basically 0 competitiveness. I would like to do well in competition for myself, but I am also generally happy when others do well!
I'm in the only child club too. I don't think I'm all that competitive, I just don't want to ever fail.
