I'm really, really burned out on watching horror.
Yes, me too. I may reconsider if real life ever stops being a horror movie.

Horror is pretty much all I'm watching anymore, for whatever reason. That mall video was wild. Memories, man.
Why can't I just montage over the next three hours?
GREAT QUESTION.
I just interviewed an internal candidate, and we were scheduled for 30 minutes, but I only took 20. I hope she doesn't take that as a bad sign, because really it's a good one -- I know her/her work pretty well already, she had thoughtful answers to my few questions, and that was enough!
I did not know you could put a decade into a building, but I think they did.
But it didn't have a Spencers Gifts of Jay Jacobs! Two landmarks of my 80s mall-going experience!
So rather than a montage, I think I'm just going to leave work early. I was already going to leave at 4:30, but I had my last meeting, cleaned up from my week, and wrote my notes for next week, so....I'm not sure I'll make it to 4:30.
We had our (post) Independence Day BBQ/Party at lunch today. I'm on the committee, and ran a few of the games. Considering I never walked more than a hundred yards at a time, I am friggin exhausted...and I can't leave until 4:30...
Hope nobody needs anything difficult for the rest of the day...
Timelies all!
My parents are in town for the weekend. Mr. S's birthday is tomorrow, and his party is Sunday. Wish me luck...

Luck, Sheryl!

I've found a much greater appreciation for Independence Day the last couple of years.
