Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Busy day for Mr. S. He had a playdate this morning with one of his former classmates, went to my MIL's house for lunch and a playdate, and has a birthday party to go to in a few minutes.

As for me, I went and got blue streaks put in my hair.

Our wings are not tired.

when I told her that the baby has two daddies she cheerfully replied, "Oh!" and that was the end of that conversation.

That's how the boys were because their parents always treated it as nothing unusual so they didn't think twice about it.

Busy days are a good thing for 4 years olds for sure! Yay for blue streaks. I haven't done any fun color in my hair forever.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Who just managed to scratch their own face? Right in time for a visit with the in-laws?

(It's me.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm taking the MongoDB course from "MongoDB University" -- which is their official site for learning how to use their DB system -- and I am being sent into white-hot rage because their instructions are all set to a previous version of their database interface.

Their. own. site. Their. official. way. to. learn. their. product.

It really doesn't inspire confidence that this will be a db that a lot of people will make a living at managing, you know?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

"from one A/C to another"

Yeah. It wasn't that hot here this weekend, but it's been super muggy. So a Southerner was complaining, and I was like, "Isn't this your native weather???" He was like, yeah, but A/C.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

FYI, tonight's L&O has a baby Idris Elba (fans self) and Kerry Washington, pre-nose job.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

(Continued thank you. I'm still processing, because I'm a kind of person who needs a bit of time to process good things as well as bad things. And it's a big change. I'm actually starting in three weeks with a summer semester of economics, math, and statistics, three and a half days a week. I'm still more excited than fearing the numbers at this point.)

Oh, yeah. Hell yeah. You described 20% of most of my work days. So much of "it is known", less much of "and it is mentioned and documented here. Oh wait, it's not. What they probably meant in that section is..."

Punishingly Intricate

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I've been at work for 45 minutes, and I'm already asking myself, "Is it Thursday yet?"
