People who live with mud pools shouldn't throw stones? Not quite as catchy I think, but...

I woke up at 430am and only sort of slept for the next couple hours. Dislike. Can't even blame that one on the sunrise.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Why are apples so freaking inconsistent? I get great apples at a store, go back a few days later and get the exact same ones, and they're just blah.

I feel so betrayed by mealy peaches.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I don't even try peaches anymore. When we lived in Washington, maybe.

I had a big farmer's market peach for breakfast today. It was at that perfect liquid-y-ripe-but-not-spoiled stage.

So far the peaches I've eaten have been fantastic. But there's always a mealy one just lurking.

Our wings are not tired.

Granny Smith apples seem a safer bet for me and rarely disappoint. Peaches I avoid until I see someone else take a bite and exclaim their joy. The percentages are just too low.

I'm sorry, Sheryl. You must be so exhausted. How is G handling it all?

Last brag, I swear. The A1c numbers came in today and that is 5.2, which is rocking. So, sticking with the plan. It took quite a lot of trial and error, but feel like we have a handle on it now.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I can only get peaches from the Farmers Market because they spoiled me for other peaches. I can usually get good apples at Whole Paycheck. I'm always buying fruit because it is the one thing I know ltc will always eat.

Mr S and ltc are almost the same exact age. ltc was awful for her grandparents today. I think she was better after I went in my room and shit the door. Apparently, I was being rude to her.

Yay, Laura! What ended up working for you?

Our wings are not tired.

Massive amounts of fiber, limit dairy and gluten and tons of water. It took some trial and error. Hardest part is 50 grams of fiber a day.

What is even happening?

I am officially sick of leftovers from my party.

sj, until I read your second sentence I thought this was about the debate as well!

Same, and I had to stop myself from deciding who was the prosciutto and who was the capicola.
