I woke up at 430am and only sort of slept for the next couple hours. Dislike. Can't even blame that one on the sunrise.
Why are apples so freaking inconsistent? I get great apples at a store, go back a few days later and get the exact same ones, and they're just blah.

I don't even try peaches anymore. When we lived in Washington, maybe.
I had a big farmer's market peach for breakfast today. It was at that perfect liquid-y-ripe-but-not-spoiled stage.
So far the peaches I've eaten have been fantastic. But there's always a mealy one just lurking.
Granny Smith apples seem a safer bet for me and rarely disappoint. Peaches I avoid until I see someone else take a bite and exclaim their joy. The percentages are just too low.

Last brag, I swear. The A1c numbers came in today and that is 5.2, which is rocking. So, sticking with the plan. It took quite a lot of trial and error, but feel like we have a handle on it now.
