Yes, every time I told parents how polite and awesome their kids were when visiting mine they would look at me like, "what, my kid!". Mine were always best for others too. Guess it is better than acting up away from home!
The boys in the out of town basketball tournament this past weekend were all wonderfully polite and well behaved. I was impressed. I expect they aren't that way all the time!
I read somewhere—was it here?—that kids act up where they are the most comfortable. They are less likely to act up around strangers or other people's parents because they're less certain about what will happen.
And now husband is sick, presumably with the norovirus or whatever I had. We tried to be careful about contagion, sigh.
