Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sheryl, I haven't seen that one yet, but I find myself thinking far far too deeply about F's shows.

Because books.

I loved Max and Ruby when the kids were little, but after just one episode I realized their parents were completely nonexistent, which seemed odd.

Max and Ruby drives me crazy for that reason. I used to watch it as a sitter, but it is one of the shows I have specifically steered ltc away from.

brillig

My current customer is one of those Sovereign Citizen idiots, his computer is full of documents on how to declare yourself a Real Man and how to disassociate yourself from federal legal ties by telling the IRS that as a Real Man you do not have a Social Security number but you are an executor for someone who does have a social security number (family members whose finances you manage, ie, the family bank account). His legal documents refer to the LastName Kingdom of the Nation of Ohio. So many strange people in the world.

How it must gall him to have to use federally supported interstate phone and Internet channels to get his crappy computer fixed.

edit: I wonder if the credit card he used to pay for the support call is from a bank that recognizes his Real Manliness.

edit 2: And more amusingly, the problems of the last two and a half hours are because he's been trying to install with the British version of the software with U.S. credentials. Bah.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I wish it were warmer here—I packed for 75-85 like the forecast said. Instead it's been 65 max, and rainy, and my one long sleeve shirt and two pairs of pants are getting old while my cute shorts and tank tops are just useless weight to carry around. Boo!

Feel your pain. I had the opposite problem in Munich last year. I packed for 65 and rainy, but we had beautiful mid 70s temps the whole week. Luckily, I had packed a few light dresses for dancing in hot clubs, so I was able to wear them all day.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I really shouldn't think too deeply about animated shows with a few human characters, and a bunch of anthropomorphic creatures, right?(This brought to you by Blaze and the Monster Machines, one of Mr.S's current favorites.)

I am super anti-Paw Patrol, so of course Alexandra loves it. Luckily, she also loves Esme & Roy and Sesame Street, so I can't stress too much.

What is even happening?

I've been buzzing with anxiety since the nebulizer treatment.

Was it albuterol?

My kids had RSV as babies and for years after, we had to give them nebulizer treatments at home, if they had upper-respiratory viruses, because they always turned into bronchiolitis (and pneumonia a couple of times).

That stuff made them so jumpy. Before they could/would wear the masks, I used to just have to hold the tube in front of their faces, and I'd get hopped up on the stuff. I remember my heart pounding.

I hope you feel better soon, sj. It's hard being sick when you have a little one.

Yeah, albuterol. And I can't sleep because I'm having horrific heartburn.

Paw Patrol is awful and also one of ltc's favorites. I also hate Bubble Guppies and Corn and Peg.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Thank you, all. Health~ma to those who need it.

Big Migraine Day today. Not a surprise, as I didn't have the time to exercise properly this week (while I hate exercise, I hate the pain even more). Still, ouch.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

Beverly, the blood sugar struggles are real. Fistbumps and other gestures of solidarity.

Depression and asthma (and cancer risk) on my mother's side, and anxiety, diabetes and heart disease on my father's. Ah well, at least I didn't pick up the alcoholism.

But I'll admit that I'm relieved to not be passing any of this stuff on to the next generation.
