Our wings are not tired.

Oh dear, sj. How are your lungs doing? Pneumonia requires much more rest than you are likely able to achieve.

Now meara has me wanting goat cheese.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was just in a meeting where we agreed that it's rude that a coworker is in Italy on vacation right now, and I'm going to extend that to you, meara! Rude.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Laura, they seem somewhat better, but I booked a follow up appointment with my doctor for Wednesday.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Yay Baby!

Boo pneumonia!

Yay Greece AND Paris!

Everything's going great, until the eight-year-old playing Rizzo tells the boys, "Everybody out! What do you think this is, a gang bang?" Then turns to the director to ask, "What's a gang bang?"

Grease is impossible to edit. It was actually the last thing I ever directed and all I was trying to do is take out the ethnic slurs and "pussy wagon"

Ann, that's a ferret.

I think, "What do you think this is, a party?" would have worked in place of the original line. Of course, it's too late for that teacher.

That's a good one! I had the hardest time with pussy wagon (In Greased Lightning). Their suggestion was Dragon Wagon! Which is weird.

The thing with Grease is that is the whole tone of the show! If you edit i, there is no plot or words or fun left! Although I just looked at the script online- the one that adds the movie songs, and it seems to be toned down. But I don't like it as much!

brillig

I am always amazed how popular Grease is here in Utah. Everyone seems to think it's just a fun nostalgic show, whereas I was horrified the first time I watched it.

Is "pussy wagon" even edited out on TV? It's nuts.

And yes, the end is horrifying.

ION, I thought I had broken my streak of their being a random coworker at every event my band plays, but no! A higher-up just told me he saw us on Saturday.

I remember Mad Magazine's take on the end. In the first panel, Ponytail!Sandy says, "I guess the only way to get the boy I love --" (to second panel, showing MadeOver!Sandy) "is to become a slut! How's that for a message for the kids of America?"
