Pretty bold to take delivery of the whips at work I say.
So, within the last week I bragged here about never getting a cold, and you guessed right, spent yesterday basically in bed, because I am a big baby. The only thing I can figure is I depleted my immunity Sunday on the beach cleanup. 8-10 in the morning is way too hot on the beach at this time of year. I was wiped out the rest of the day. On Tuesday I had a sore throat, which I ignored, and by yesterday full ick.
Per the previous discussion I am going to have DH pick me up some Zicam on his way home from basketball practice. During the summer he runs the players on the beach at 7AM. Our students finish school in May so this has been the first week of summer camp for basketball. Beach morning, gym in the afternoon, games at night. I won't see DH for a month for the most part.

It's just a power cord with a powercon connector on one end. Somewhere along the line our industry started refering to the cords coming out of moving lights as whips.
I'm just going to let the info desk folks wonder. They should be used to odd deliveries. I helped them figure out who a package from a taxidermy shop was for not too long ago (costumes).

That is a terrible sticker!
I got very lucky earlier and even though I showed up at my hotel at 10am they gave me a room right away! So I got to nap and shower and then go out and about. Mind you, after some perfectly fine orienteering when I left the hotel, as soon as I decided to come back, I KEPT getting lost. Like, I'd look at the map, go a block, be in the wrong place, farther from the hotel. Try again, same thing. For a while I thought maybe it was a mirage and google maps was just always going to tell me that the hotel was 1.1km away. When it first said that, I was like "cool, I can walk". Like, 45 minutes later I am regretting that, now with an ice pack on my ankle.
