Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

Tasting the cholorophyll in food is a thing for other people, and it's not just me going "It doesn't taste like anything, it just tastes green!"

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm in Pittsburgh! I've done so much walking this week. Pittsburgh is so very beautiful and sad. There are just so many houses that are abandoned, condemned, or even collapsing.

The food is just so German. So very, very German.

Ha! I bet that's right. But with some kind of American accent.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Pirogis aren't German.

I hope having the diagnosis helps, Zen. Medication makes a very noticeable difference to my ability to, like, manage, but just having a rational reason to try to talk myself out of beating myself for being lazy, disorganized, etc has been a real godsend.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

just having a rational reason to try to talk myself out of beating myself for being lazy, disorganized, etc has been a real godsend.

I'm still working on not beating myself up anyway, but I'm getting there.

I know how I felt when I found out about Sensory Processing Disorder, which explained so much about my being bothered by stuff

Oh, yes.

Having those letters meant I wasn't willfully stupid--and that was a relief.

Oh, yes. Very much a relief.

As were the realizations that I'm not weird and "wrong," I'm ace and bi. All those are valid ways to be, and I'm not alone in any of them.

Ace and pan, and a relief to figure that out too.

I've named the self-destructive voice in my head Gary and picture him as a big grey stuffy doll so I can mentally punch him in the face. "Shut up, Gary!"

The one in my head is my grandmother. She's been dead 40 years and still won't hush up.
