Oh no, flea!! Hope rest relaxes
Yay shir go grad school!
I was up until about 1:30am packing (well, I was done packing at like 1130 and somehow kept doing things) and got in the Lyft a few minutes ago and realized I forgot my headphones. Which would t be a huge thing except stupid apple and their stupid lightning headphones. Grr. Guess I'll see how ridiculous airport prices are
Dana, I really like Elderberry Syrup for immune boosting. I'm fondest at the moment of the Gaia Herbs one. They've got capsules as well, which is unlikely to help you this time if you're leaving today, but you can find some variant of syrups at your fancier groceries/natural foods stores.
I'm sorry, flea. Hope it's better soon.
My local coop offers free tastings of various elderberry products. They're not bad, although I can't speak to their efficacy.

BWAH!
Congrats on grad school, Shir!
sj, I'm glad you are home and resting. flea, feel better soon!
I may just be paranoid. It may be allergies. It's possible I'm becoming a hypochondriac in my old age, which I don't like. Or it's just tied to a general increase in anxiety, which, I point disparagingly at the world.
Oh no, flea! I hope your back feels better and you find some way to be entertained.
I've been able to find cheap wireless headphones at drugstores and Target, meara. The airport, well, who knows, but good luck!
I'm sorry, flea. I hope you are comfortable enough to get some reading done.
The only cold remedy suggestion I have is nasal spray for the plane. It's not a cure but it will make you more comfortable.
I'm a new convert to Zicam/generic equivalent, it kept me from developing bad nasal congestion for this last cold and seemed to mute the sore throat and cough symptoms. One of my doctors highly recommends it—he said it works by the zinc bonding to the exterior of cold viruses and interfering with their reproduction.
I ended up spending $25 on some wireless headphones at the airport. Will probably try to buy some cheap ones while I'm in DC—I dislike having to charge my headphones, it annoys me.
I love nasal spray so much but feel so betrayed when it wears off
