We are explicitly NOT being released early.
But I just finished all my annual reviews! Now I should actually do the one for Colleague Who Thinks I'm Incompetent. I had a good conversation with my boss about how to say what I think, but of course that was at least a week ago, so I don't really remember the details. Oh well!
Also this week, I heard a junior colleague who I don't even know who it is thinks highly of me, which was surprisingly thrilling to me.
We are being released early, which I had completely forgotten might happen. And I came in early, so I'll be leaving at 1pm, yay!

I am not only working until 6pm today, I am working tomorrow 9-6 and Sunday 12-5. The Library Must Go On. (We do close Monday.)
The books must flow.
The hard part is relocating the library after all the activity attracts bookworms. That's why it's so important to be quiet.
I'm volunteering for my job on Monday. They offered me an extra holiday, which is nice, but kind of weird because I wouldn't get anything for volunteering on Sunday, since I'm exempt.
You wouldn't get a comp day for working on a weekend, Jesse? Our system for that is very informal and, I guess, kind of generous. Hardly ever comes up, though.

Ugh. Woke up at 2 this morning because the rain storm scared Mr. S. He insisted on sleeping with us after that, so we're all sleep-deprived. Great way to start a 4 day con...
