The hard part is relocating the library after all the activity attracts bookworms. That's why it's so important to be quiet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm volunteering for my job on Monday. They offered me an extra holiday, which is nice, but kind of weird because I wouldn't get anything for volunteering on Sunday, since I'm exempt.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You wouldn't get a comp day for working on a weekend, Jesse? Our system for that is very informal and, I guess, kind of generous. Hardly ever comes up, though.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ugh. Woke up at 2 this morning because the rain storm scared Mr. S. He insisted on sleeping with us after that, so we're all sleep-deprived. Great way to start a 4 day con...

I managed to sleep for like four and half hours last night, which is way better than the rest of the week. I feel very tired, but much better than I did yesterday at this time.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

(We do close Monday.)

I picked up my hold today so I would have something to read on Monday!

Our kitty was so bad at the vet today (mostly when his claws were being trimmed) that the vet sent him home with an Rx for a mild sedative to give him before we ever bring him in for a claw trim again. DAMN, Murderbiscuit. You could fucking chill, my guy.

He's also lost 1/2 a pound since his last checkup, and he's already a little cat. I suspect part of it is that I don't think he ate anything when we boarded him when we were in Colorado. This was a comprehensive checkup where they do blood tests and whatnot, and the vet said he's super healthy, so she isn't concerned about his weight, but doesn't want to see him lose any more weight, and would be fine if he put that 1/2 pound back on. So we may add some more gooshyfood, or maybe more treats or something.

I picked up dinner from the pizzeria near-ish to the vet that has gluten-free pizza, and it's keeping warm in the oven and I can smell it and I might just have to eat the whole thing right now. I'm sure Tim wouldn't mind. I also got a salad big enough for 2-3 people, because (1) we don't have any salad in the fridge, and (2) salad at restaurants always tastes so much better. Why is that?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You need to release some voles in the house, so that he can get his recommended daily allowance of murder.
