'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I think you're right, Sophia, FWIW.

I spent a lot of time out on the patio just now -- the temp is about 70, but the wind is pretty strong. At least I'm not complaining about being sweaty?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yeah, it doesn't sound like you have much doubt, Sophia. You knew the time had come.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And I don't think you have to give up your identity as a theater professional! You're just not doing this job right now.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was supposed to be going to a chorus concert tonight, but we couldn't figure out where to park, so we just came home! At least I can catch up on my shows.

Herding cats for fun

This decision has been brewing for awhile, Sophia. I don't think you'll be giving up on theater... I think you're going to interface with the craft in different ways.

If you ever need practice with doing costumes, you could always try dressing me up as a tasteful lady. Har de har har snortlaugh.

Sophia, if you find your main job doesn't fulfill that part of you, I'm positive you'll be able to find another platform.

Speaking of positive, I just remembered to listen to the voicemail that came from an unfamiliar number while I was working Friday night(picked up phone for first time to take a picture of the cats...)

Welp, it was my dr. My bloodwork came back & the rheumatoid numbers are positively positive. So no more guessing, it's that.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm glad you have a clear answer and a path! (even if it's a sucky one)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I hope this leads to good treatment options, sarameg.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

oh hon. I hope you find some treatments that help, but at least no more tests.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm sorry, sarameg. At least it allows treatement options.

In yet another moment of polls being meaningless, Prime Minister Scott Morrison defied the predictions and won the Australian elections. Seriously, every time I see polls and predictions I grumble. False hope is all they represent to me.

Yeah, imagine how I feel. Aside from expecting the Coalition government to be ousted (which it richly deserved), I really thought we had a decent shot of getting rid of my rather unpleasant local member. In the event the only positive is that former PM, Tony Abbott, lost his seat (despite it being an erstwhile safe seat). Now we get three more years of inaction on climate change, wage growth and property market distortions.

On the plus side, there was clear evidence that Australia is the greatest democracy in the world, in that - as usual - after voting you could grab a sanger at the polling station's sausage sizzle.
