Where ya going, shrift?
I ordered Crispy Honey Duck from a new to me Thai restaurant for lunch and while it is not the Crispy Duck of fabled memory that I still wish to find it is quite delicious in it's own right. This restaurant has 5 specifically duck dishes on its menu! I am so excite
Been doing some low intensity car shopping for my son. I looked at a $3,350 car last night and just texted them to find out what fees might be tacked on. They said it was 'only' a $599 fee. Nearly 20% isn't only. Car seems pretty decent for the money, but I'd have to repair a couple minor things.
In your defense, it wasn't usually necessary to bring your passport along to an interview.
No, but it's for employability verification. I set it down when the fucking umbrella exploded by the door and of course never picked it back up. I blame the rain for this too.
Oh, leaving your passport in Canada would not have been a good move. Although now that I say that...
Exploding umbrella sounds bad. And distracting, for sure.
Umm, vodka is not an emulsifier. It's just water and ethanol.
Also, the new royal baby is named Archie? Really?
Archie is weird. It seems like a nickname for something, rather than the baby's full name! But whatever....it'll probably become popular.
Harry probably figured that no one calls him Henry, so why not skip that part?
One of my coworkers said Archie was derived from Arthur, but I don't know where she got that.
I have now read the Serious Eats Food Lab on vodka sauce so I understand how it works a little better, but I'm not giving up my cognitive dissonance. It's mine and I cherish it.
Amy Schumer named her baby Gene, so I guess we're back in the groove of just giving babies nicknames! (I grew up with a Carrie, a Molly, etc. I would defend Jesse as being a full name, but not that hard.)
