You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

Ann, that's a ferret.

You guys, how is it the afternoon already??

I don't know. Just 5 minutes ago, it was 10:00. And now I'm finishing lunch.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Dang, sorry Jess

I did just have lunch even though it is not even 10:30 here. Breakfast did not take, I guess.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Occasionally though I end up not watching the thing for a long time because everyone is so hyped about it, and then when I do watch it I'm either kicking myself for not doing it sooner, or I'm like "what was the big deal??"

Oh yeah, I'm always skipping things that were over-hyped to me. You say I'd love it? I'll never know!! That'll show them....?

OK, I think I did enough work and now I can go to a cool conference on campus.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Rosemary saw her regular doctor today, and is doing quite well, so yay! She tires really easily, though, so it's going to be weeks before she's back to whatever normal is for her. Since she's been dealing with a bad heart valve for years, it will be interesting to see if her stamina increases and she does get a lot more active than she's been. (fingers crossed)

Also: she ordered a portable dishwasher!!! We've been without one for like a year now. I can keep up with my own dishes (and do) but left to her own devices she'd have a pile up to here, so at least putting the dirties away in the dishwasher would keep a source of household dirtiness and resentment (i.e. ME) away.

Our wings are not tired.

That was fun.

Good to hear the Rosemary report. Is she continuing rehab? PT can be very helpful to gain stamina.

brillig

I feel a little sorry for the people in charge of the DCCU this week. A little.

I refuse to consider feeling sorry for Zack Snyder for any reason.

The status is NOT quo.

Yeah, I'm not even going in the Marvel thread here until after I see it, because even the regular-font nonspoilery reactions are still enough to make me start assuming stuff.

This. Currently at a conference and can't see it until Sunday night. Avoiding everything.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My hairdresser and I both shouted "no spoilers" at someone else in the salon when they mentioned they saw Endgame.
