It was maybe 60 here at a high today, and sunny and windy with leaves blowing, and I'm. so. very. happy.
We flipped the furnace on this evening. And the a/c was on as recently as Tuesday. Ohio weather = bonkers.
I plugged in the heated cat bed for Murderbiscuit, and he may never get out of it again.
Owwww. My leg hurts. And it's friday night and I should be dancing but nooooo. And my roku can't find the WiFi. Wtf.

On the happier making news, it is on the facebook of someone I barely knew in HS who friended me. I debated, because I didn't know him too well- he was quiet and we ran in different circles. He is a joy! So smart and politically astute, so I am glad I did it.
Another problem: I keep waking up and the internet is not coming up with enough to entertain me but I am too out of it to read. Will need to figure this out...
It's nice when HS people turn out to be copacetic. So often it goes the other way.
I'm all a-squee about my Helsinki trip! I'm driving up to spend the night with my BFF, and the next day we head to the airport. So excited! I'll be meeting some 3rd cousin or other for a day, and checking out things with my BFF for another day. But otherwise, it's all me exploring a new-to-me European city. I'm looking forward to coffee in little cafés by the harbor, museums, cloudberry liquor-based drinks, all kinds of niftyness. Has anyone else been? Any recommendations?

I have a HS friend I rediscovered on Facebook, kinda like that - someone I was acquainted with, who was a friend of a friend, I don't think we ever said more than two words to each other back then. Found old friend on Fb, she's there in his comments, we actually have conversations and we added each other on Fb, and I am soooooo glad. She could totally be a Buffista.
Calli, I have no useful Helsinki suggestions. But I am drooling with envy.

We're off to a Halloween book festival today. We went last year and had a great time. I've been looking forward to it for months and a couple of my favorite authors will be there. So, of course, my brain is freaking out and panicking. I hate my brain sometimes.
