Family did the escape room last night, and well we aren't as smart as we think we are, but also there was stuff we never in a million years would have figured out. Host let us go way over time feeding us hints to finally escape. All in all it was fun.

Ha ha. Woke up for an hour around 3:30 AM and then was up for good at 7:30.

I probably could have gone back to sleep at 7:30, except I started thinking about stuff I needed to do, like try to find a good writing sample from the stuff I've worked on, and figure out what to say in a "yep, got laid off" email to my team.

Hard to go back to sleep when the brain is active, but yay no meetings!

Had my nutrition follow up. She laughed hard at my last few days of pizza, tacos, and ice cream. As expected there will be none of that for the next month. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. I'll finish off my wine tonight. Sob.
