I probably could have gone back to sleep at 7:30, except I started thinking about stuff I needed to do, like try to find a good writing sample from the stuff I've worked on, and figure out what to say in a "yep, got laid off" email to my team.

Had my nutrition follow up. She laughed hard at my last few days of pizza, tacos, and ice cream. As expected there will be none of that for the next month. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. I'll finish off my wine tonight. Sob.
At least I get to visit Rosemary at the rehab -- not the same as losing a dear pet. But the house is hugely empty.
