Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

That which does not kill you should RUN

Because I think internet April Fool's jokes like "our site used to be X, but now we're Y!!" are funny

I love those. The year PornHub became CornHub was my favorite.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Speaking of Good Stuff, I see stories like this [link] and think they are nice, but then I think why the fuck is an 80-year-old man still needing to work? And then I no longer think the story is good stuff.

What say you?

Because books.

Yeah, but then half the stories in the world would be not good stuff, I think.

Does Google not do April Fool's stuff anymore? When did that happen?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I can definitely see it giving second thoughts, Jesse.

I am already pre-exhausted from April Fool's. Though my Google calendar did say something about organizing it with a game? So I'm guessing there's something in there somewhere, Amy.

Google Maps has an old-school snake game: [link]

This is why I share so few stories anymore! "Look at this formerly-abused pet!" "Community raises millions to pay for child's medical care!" "Cops do nice thing!"

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I think they cut way back, Amy. Not sure when that happened. They have a "snake" game in Maps. Back in the day they'd have something for every feature, right?

I see what you mean, Jesse. In that particular case, it seems like all the individual humans are bringing what good they can into a world with major systemic problems, so, on balance I'm going to say it's Good because that's so often the best we can do and it's worth celebrating

That is a better attitude, thank you.

The LA Times story trolling the NYT is pretty funny:

That's hysterical!
