I think they cut way back, Amy. Not sure when that happened. They have a "snake" game in Maps. Back in the day they'd have something for every feature, right?
I see what you mean, Jesse. In that particular case, it seems like all the individual humans are bringing what good they can into a world with major systemic problems, so, on balance I'm going to say it's Good because that's so often the best we can do and it's worth celebrating

That is a better attitude, thank you.
The LA Times story trolling the NYT is pretty funny:

You guys, I got an email "advertising" cheese toothpaste, and... I kind of want it?
Mac came home about 9pm last night. We haven't spoken. I've been sending him texts. He was not up and ready for school by the time I left so he got there so e other way.
That's what I'm doing now, just giving him the parameters I need him to fit into if he wants my assistance. He has repeatedly not followed rules about phone tracking being on, so I am no longer paying for any data on his line, he can get his own service if he wants it. Same for internet, he can pay for half the bill if he wants it and then it will be in without restrictions. He wants freedom then he can pay like an adult.
Sometimes it's better to just have the consequence than the yelling and so on -- easier to process and absorb the lesson (one hopes).
Rosemary may be moving to regular room today, so things are progressing well.
I acquired rolling papers so project Smoke Pot would be on but if I have to go over to the hospital later, that's probably not a great idea...
That seems like a reasonable approach, msbelle.
Your will-these-leaves-ever-get-smoked? saga is amusing me a lot, Theo
