Oh, Shir! I have a Hebrew question for you! The other day, my Israeli friend was asking about the word for pinwheel, and I think she said something like "shevchevitz"? Can you confirm or deny? Google translate isn't transliterating for me, and gave me גלגל שיני.

Thrive to spite them

I was in Tallahassee but we decided to head back to NC. Michael will make landfall this afternoon but Dad suggested it and we decided to go. Matthew and I will stop if we have to. So far no traffic so we are making good time.

I hope this was a good choice

Have a safe trip, askye. Which part of NC are you heading to? The eastern part of the state is under a tropical storm watch and could get a lot of rain on top of what's left from Florence.

Scrappy, I'm sorry that school didn't work out. If Troy isn't too far, my niece had good experiences teaching in some of their schools. Also, Carpenter Elementary, in Lake Orion, was a good environment for my sister when she was teaching there. Osmun (sp?) Tech near Lake Orion is a STEM magnet that my nephew liked (as a student).

In other important updates, my coworker who is on leave had the baby over the weekend, and has now updated her out of office to say she's out til January, so that's good.
