[Confession: the Captain America march is on my 5K playlist as the last song so that I can play it as I cross the finish line. Because I am deeply deeply committed to being a giant nerd.]
Confession: Am now planning to construct a playlist the next 5k I do solo so I can be a nerd like you. #GiantNerdGoals!
My favorite thing about our bedsheets is that they're vertically striped, so I always know which way to put the sheets on. (It's just annoying when I get the short side of the sheet on the long side of the mattress. Stripes always mean I know which side is short and which side is long.)
I love that some of my sheets have labels on the edges!
Also that the interval for laundering depends on a) how many on the bed b) what you do on the bed (think food if you don't have a dirty mind) and c) whether you usually wear pajamas, which makes a surprising amount of difference, because pajamas soak up a lot of sweat and skin oil.
Thank you for validating how long I go between new sheets!
I expect their recessional to be the Star Wars theme, though.
I have friends who recessed to the Imperial Death March!
The wedding themes are, incongruously, peacocks and Star Wars.
If this wedding is not officiated by Darth Vader in a peacock tail, it will be a missed opportunity.

Or a storm trooper with feather-printed armor! Really, the possibilities are endless!
Or a Leia but instead of buns, she has two little peacocks on her head.
EVERYTHING MUST BE STAR WARS AND ALSO PEACOCKS.

That is BRILLIANT
We recessed to something on a harp, I forget what, a traditional choice, but we made our first appearance at our reception with the Breeders' version of the Buffy theme playing. People were confused. Some of them.
Timelies all!
My drivers license is up for renewal, so I'm going to go to the MVA tomorrow. I have to remember all the documents I need.(Real ID. sigh)
I have two sets of sheets with sage and a paler, softer sage green leaves and grey stems printed batik-style on cream fabric. And a set of sage green sheets, and a set of pretty dove-grey sheets, all in fairly high content cotton. Which get mixed to one grey, one printed pillowcase, grey bottom, printed top sheet, or printed bottom, grey top sheet, and ditto the green. I *love* the print, and don't mind always having it on the bed in some configuration. Soothing and familiar, and clean, mmmm. H doesn't care much, as long as it's horizontal.
OH GOOD THE HOME THEATER INSTALLATION GUY HAS ARRIVED AT OUR NEIGHBOR'S HOUSE. ASK ME HOW I KNOW.
